WORSHIP

never did i ever think that i would one day be a worship leader.

growing up watching pastors and worship leaders, i always assumed it was for the elite. the people who God had gifted abundantly with melodious voices and who had an anointing on their lives for such a great call.

it was awesome seeing what God did in these people, but never once did i stop to consider that he might use me.

my desire is still not to be a worship LEADER, but to be a true worshiper. to serve Him wholeheartedly and to just give my all for Him.

in a way, He has revealed to me the true HEART of worship. and in all honestly, our worship far exceeds just singing a couple of songs unto Him. it is a lifestyle of worship He seeks.

i never thought i would ever stand in front of crowd, leading them in the praises of our Lord. all i did was pick up a guitar one day, fiddle around with the chords and notes and learnt to play a few songs. then one day, i just decided to meet a need in the cell. there was a lack of worship leaders. from then, God has been gracious and has increased my playing skills. 

the point is, i never thought He could ever use me, especially not in worship. but yet He has, and all i did was to surrender my talents unto Him.
