see, that is shanghai.
it was quite cold. but a nice cold. average temperature about 8DEGREESCELCIUS!!

DAYONE!
arrived in shanghai at like 7am. went to uncle ronnie's place to rest for abit. then we headed out to lunch at about 10plus. *note that travelling time is not like 10 or 15 min like in sg. ate at a taiwanese restaurant. must say the food was good. despite the cold we still ordered some shaved ice thing that tasted like peanut butter. it was super nice. haha. then after that we headed to the science and technology center. i know what you must be thinking: "but ann, you're cool, you play bass, what are you doing at the SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY center?" haha ok, maybe you werent but i was. ((= anw, no its not a museum of sorts. its actually an underground shopping place. HAHA! as if i would go some place just to sleep. this is what i bought from there:
1)superman pullover
2)purple kipling bag
3)pearl necklace(real one)
4)blue polo tee
5)2 sunglasses
6)adidas jacket for ian
DAYTWO!!
i got to sleep in. was too tired coz i didnt sleep on the plane. anw, auntie chris had BSF(biblestudyfellowship) so it all worked out. met her BSF group and we all went to lunch together. we went to this restaurant where you have to call in advance to get the secret code. and when you get to the restaurant you have to punch in the secret code and the door will open. if you punch the wrong code, the wrong door opens and its actually a mirror that says "GOTCHA!" haha. so anw, we got in after several tries of number codes, and ya the food there is really good. haha. was like 38yuan(less than 5sing) for drink, soup, salad, rice, 2dishes. and that is for one person. haha. the toilets there are amusing. coz you are supposed to push away from the door knob(the knob is placed at the hinge of the door), and once you lock the lights will come on. haha. its really very interesting that place. haha. but i dunno the name. after that auntie chris, cecilia and i went to yuyuan to shop. HAHA! things there are cheap like you wouldnt believe. but of course in china everything is a HAVE TO BARGAIN basis. and they love to cheat your money, so MUST be discerning. i bought:
1)over 40 necklaces
2)a hat
3)jelly bellys
4)smth for my ipod(no idea what its called)
DAYTHREE!!!
went to cut and dye my hair in the moring. its now BROWN! thebrown i chose was super light but it only came out as brown. haha. mum is colour blind, she considers my hair BLONDE!! like what? haha. anw we went to the superbrand mall. mum didnt let me buy anything. after that we went to yuyuan agn coz mum didnt go the previous day and she wanted to go. ))= so ya, but lunch was good. haha. we te dimsum at some restaurant there. its super nice i tell you. over ordered though. haha. but it was cheap so it was fine. haha. i bought:
1)2 ties
2)a hat
3)4 pairs of earrings
DAYFOUR!!!!
uncle ronnie took leave to come shop with us! haha. cecilia came along too. we went to qipulu in the morning. shopping there is fun. haha. but shopping always is for me. haha. then we went to the super brand mall to eat at the same restaurant coz the adults really really love dimsum. but the good news is i got to shop there. haha. after shopping there we went to the underground shopping thingy agn. the science and tech center. haha. i collected my pearls and shopped somemore. haha. i bought:
1)grey jacket
2)light blue sweater
3)blue sweater
4)shorts
5)brown shirt
6)2 polo shirts
7)a bag
8)jeans
9)a shirt for daddy

left on day five. reached singapore at 2pm. then went home to lie on my bed.
