anw, today is TOTAL DEFENCE DAY! somehow, nobody really cares. haha.

so we were on our way to training, just minding our own business when what happens? this indian guy comes on the bus. so they started to show this news-like thing on tvmobile, and its a video of the MPs in parliament la. then, this indian guy(who by the way is sitting in front of me) starts pointing his MIDDLE FINGER to the screen and waving it around so that everyone can see. i was shocked! then, he waves it again and again at intervals of about 5 seconds. so only the people around him noticed(the bus was crowded). then he starts swearing and screaming vulgarities and said something like "...singaporeans are so scared to confront and overthrow the government...(more F-words) taxes, GST, pay more only..." and after all that, he looks around, sees that there are alot of TKGians, so he starts telling us to rebel against PAP, and our stop comes(thank God!), so of cours we all get of la. then he starts scolding us for 'walking away'. this is when i see the alcohol he's holding in his hand.

i have only one thing to say: we dont overrule the government cause singapore's government is among the best in the world. there is little or no corruption, and we should be thankful for that. sure, the government may not be perfect, but we should be content with our current situation, instead of always complaining if things are not as idealistic as what we imagine a perfect world to be. IM PROUD TO BE SINGAPOREAN!!

oh, yes! and i would like to PUBLICALLY thank God for providing for me.
you see, im always broke, one way or another. so, i was telling alicia that i would have to borrow money from her. so she takes out her wallet and asks "$2 enough?" . and then and then and then... i see a 2 dollar plastic note on th floor. haha. so thankyou God, for feeding me when i had no money.
